Rossi

1908 - Where it all began:

A craftsman of his time, Rossi Boots founder, Arthur Rossiter brought a legend to life when he started making premium leather sports boots in his backyard shed. 2 years after, Arthur built his first factory in Adelaide, South Australia. He then officially formed the company ‘Rossiter’s Pty Ltd’ which started a family tradition spanning over 110 years and four generations.

1915 & 1940 - The Australian Army WWI & WW2

As the first world war hit, the Rossiter’s provided the footwear for The Australian Army. Arthur made it his focus to create a comfortable boot for the Australian soldiers in order to play his part in the war effort. Rossiter’s again supplied the Australian Army with 110,000 pairs of army boots to soldiers in WWII which remains an enormous source of pride among the Rossi Boots team to this day.

1950 - The Ripple Sole Desert Shoe

The Original Ripple Sole Desert Boot launched in 1950, crafted with stitch down construction where the upper is sewn to the midsole. These boots are still made in the South Australian factory today and are an iconic part of the collection.

1993 - The Endura

The iconic Endura Sole was launched in 1993 featuring a robust nitrile rubber sole and comfortable air cushion technology. For over 25 years this boot is Rossi Boots’ most popular style, worn across various agriculture, wine and trade industries.

2020 - Three Iconic Australian Brands Unite

In April 2020, Rossi Boots joined the Australian owned and operated Propel Group alongside two more iconic Australian brands – Driza-Bone and RB Sellars. Staying true to their 110 year heritage, Rossi Boots continues to evolve, with a selection of the ‘Iconic Boots’ range still being crafted in their South Australian based factory.
